“Lucky the Orphan” Now Available for Pre-Order
Second Book by Ray Fisher and Dave Koco to be Released Globally
TOKYO: Authors Ray Fisher and Dave Koco announce that their second novel, Lucky the Orphan, is now available online for preorder ahead of its international release. The book details the story of Lucky, a wounded Marine who compiles his unofficial memoirs while recovering from injuries at a hospital. Lucky takes you back in time to an orphanage in the 1980s. You will experience what it was like to a 13-year-old orphan whose everyday life would be hard for most anyone to endure. He is terrorized by at least one of the orphanage’s strict nuns, and by too many rough peers, but Lucky still makes friends to help him through it all. He also finds it in his heart to still believe in the miracle of Santa Claus, Nintendo, video games, and professional wrestling. Follow Lucky and his gaggle of friends as you vicariously experience an orphan’s determination to get on Santa’s pivotal “nice List” as he gains a makeshift family along the way.
Lucky the Orphan is the second novel by Ray Fisher and Dave Koco and is their first for young readers. The book is aimed at audiences from 9 to 13 years old and is a dramatic departure in tone from their first book, the controversial Operation Freakshow. “We want to write all styles from dark to light and everything in between,” says Koco. “I want to write so many stories that for every time I meet a reader, I will have a story for them.”
The book is available on Amazon for preorder on Kindle and paperback. Readers can also find more of Fisher and Koco’s work there as well and receive updates about upcoming projects.
